Tee Sheet North plans golf trips. To do that we need a small amount of information about you, and this page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Tee Sheet North is a golf trip planning service based in Inverness, Scotland. We decide how your information is used, which makes us the data controller under UK data protection law.
For anything on this page, email bookings@teesheetnorth.com.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your name, email address, and the details of your trip, such as dates, group size, the courses you want to play and your budget. If you give us the names of others in your group, we hold those too.
- Records of our work with you. Our emails, notes from planning calls, the plan we write for you, and a record of what you paid.
- Technical information. The company that hosts this website records basic details of each visit, such as IP address and browser type, to keep the site running and secure.
We do not ask for payment card details by email, and we never see them. We do not collect passport, health or other sensitive information.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and plan your trip. We do this because you asked us to, as a step towards or part of a contract with you.
- To keep business and tax records. We do this because the law requires it.
- To keep the website secure and working. We do this because it is in our legitimate interest to run a reliable site.
We do not sell your information. We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them.
Who we share it with
We do not pass your details to golf courses, hotels or drivers. You make every booking yourself, so you choose what each supplier knows about you.
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they handle information on our behalf:
- A website hosting provider
- Email providers
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser contacts Google to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
Some of these providers are based outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where information is transferred abroad, we rely on the safeguards UK law recognises for such transfers.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become a booking: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client records: up to six years after our work for you ends, to meet tax and legal requirements.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it
- stop or limit how we use it
- send it to you or to someone else in a portable format
Email bookings@teesheetnorth.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we use your information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
